Master Cleanse Day One!

With the wedding coming up so soon, I've decided I need to do something to get looking fabulous. The Master Cleanse is something I've been thinking of doing for a long time now, and this morning I decided to jump. If you don't know, The Master Cleanse is an all-liquid diet consisting of a lemonade drink. There are some amazing videos on YouTube from other women who have made this journey that ended up looking amazing, with clearer skin and smaller pants sizes, in a matter of weeks. Like so many before me, I'll be tracking my journey through the wonder that is YouTube. Hopefully that will keep me motivated to stick with it, because I'll be the first to admit I'm not a skilled dieter. So here it is: my video for day one.

A Recognizable Happy

Today I was a lot of words: 

lazy,

happy, 

content, 

curious,

silly

... and not one of my today words was "busy". 

If you were to ask someone I know personally what I'm like, "busy" would probably top the list. Not today, though. Today I woke up at 11, way past my normal waking hour. I walked the dog. I painted my toes blue. I painted a frame pink. I rode my bike around town. I went and had some ice cream with friends. And in the middle of the day, in between frolicking, I looked down at my freshly-blue toes, up at the sky, and I was truly happy. And I recognized it. And that's the best kind of happy, you know, when you can actually stop in that moment and recognize that's exactly what you are.

You May Have Known Me As "Tinda Keelie"

Some of you may be visiting here and wondering whatever happened to Tinda Keelie.

The decision to change the blog name has been a long time coming. I've been feeling for a while that Tinda Keelie didn't fit where my life was headed. It used to be me and my clothes and my apartment-decorating projects. Me, me me. Now it's Katie and Dave. And while the decorating is now more gender neutral, I can assure you that he doesn't wear any of my clothes. Okay, maybe the occasional hoodie is shared, but that's it- I promise.

This Love is really about what the title says- it's about this crazy love that Dave and I share. It's about all the places it's taking us. And of course, it's going to be about the outfits I wear while playing wife. I couldn't give that up if I tried.

So stay tuned! This summer alone is going to bring some great surprises leading up to the day I officially become Mrs. Estelle, which is the very-soon August 5th!
