New Job!

Well, I did it; I've landed my self an amazing, full-time job with benefits that is actually relevant to my degree in family studies. I thought the chances of me finding something  while 4 months pregnant in Michigan would be slim, but here I am- and it only took me a month. I am in utter shock that I received that phone call this morning, telling me what I'd been waiting to hear but deep down thought I never would.

I did it.


It's still taking me time to actually get used to the idea that I will have a desk with a picture of my beloved husband on it, in an office that is all mine. I am so giddy at the thought of being able to wear something other than a uniform to work. And nail polish- oh nail polish, how I've missed you. (You're not allowed to wear it in food service).

This past year and a half has been full of so many blessings that I can barely catch my breath. I went from being madly in love with Dave to becoming his wife, from being a college student to a college graduate, from pug-lover to Ugg-mama, and from a care-free lady to making and growing a baby girl. Now I've gone from a pizza girl to a foster care worker.

Everything just keeps getting better and better all the time. I am so blessed that I couldn't hold it in. I just had to share it with all of you.
